1888

When Jules Baud set up his company in Morez (Jura) in 1888, he manufactured corrective eyewear. In 1950, after some years’ diversification into sunglasses, he created the classic ski goggles. This was the start of a real specialisation in protecting eyes in high-risk environments. The story is studded with landmarks: children’s eyewear, polarizing prescription eyewear.
