Polarizing technology

When light rays hit a flat surface (car windscreen, water, snow etc, asphalt etc.) they spread out in all directions.





Julbo POLARIZED lenses are created by overmoulding two pieces of polycarbonate lens onto a polarising film. The polarising filter molecules are orientated to suppress light reflection.

Julbo POLARIZED lenses eliminate dazzle, they significantly increase visual sharpness (better definition of shapes and colours), and eliminate discomfort and tiredness.



In 1998, Julbo was the first brand to launch POLARIZED polycarbonate lenses. This technology rapidly became the standard for the watersports environment.
